Democrats Pounce on Matthew Whitaker

This is a second open letter to the GOP. The first can be read here.

In just mere weeks after taking control of the House, Democrats Pounce on “acting” AG Matthew Whitaker. One question that kept being asked of Whitaker, is that of recusal. This my GOP friends is exactly why you are feckless! Has any GOP member called for the recusal of Mueller? No?

Democrats pull out all stops to make sure a biased investigation will not be hampered nor discovered.

For two years the Feckless GOP sat while the highly conflicted Robert Mueller ran an out of control perjury snare and slow-motion coup. I’m guessing the GOP members of congress forgot that Robert Mueller is the “Former Head of the FBI”.

Mueller was granted a special “ethics waiver” to sit as special counsel! The details of which are still hidden. In all of America our DOJ could not find another option for SC than the former head of the FBI?

Mueller was an integral part of this very DOJ/FBI “community” for the better part of three decades.

This FBI and DOJ:

The Department of Justice allegedly conspired to “get Trump”.

Promulgated and leaked questionable “intelligence” that turned out to be political opposition research.

Exploited the government’s most intrusive surveillance authority to spy on Americans who were tied to Trump during the presidential campaign.

Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein, signed his name to at least one of the controversial wiretaps against a Trump campaign associate.

Rosenstein, Jackson, Stark, Comey & Roberts all hold substantial Fidelity investments.

Judge Amy Berman Jackson was nominated by Barack Obama on Jun. 17, 2010. Nominated with Jackson was soon-to-be FISA Court judge James E. Boasberg. Judge Boasberg, holding up to $7 million in investments in 2012, is heavily invested in Clinton Foundation donors, as is Jackson.

Judge Amy B. Jackson was just assigned to Roger Stone’s case on Jan. 24, 2019. Magically, Jackson was also assigned to the Mueller prosecutions of Paul Manafort, Rick Gates and Skadden Arps LLP lawyer Alex Rolf van der Zwaan.

Former FBI director James Comey stated under oath that he had deliberately leaked confidential notes about conversations with President Trump, hoping to prompt appointment of a special investigator to investigate a president.

Comey subordinate and deputy director of the FBI Andrew McCabe ran the Washington, D.C., office that was involved in the Clinton email investigations.  McCabe did not recuse himself from the email investigation until one week before the presidential election, even though just months earlier his wife, Jill McCabe, had announced her Democratic campaign for a state senate seat in Virginia — and had received a huge donation of more than $675,000 from the political organizations of Governor Terry McAuliffe, a longtime Clinton supporter.

At least six of the Mueller’s staff of 15 lawyers, who previously had donated to Hillary Clinton’s campaigns, are now investigating her arch foe Donald Trump.

Peter Strzok, an FBI investigator assigned to the Mueller investigation of Russian collusion and Lisa Page, a consulting FBI lawyer exchanged texts adamantly anti-Trump and pro-Clinton.

Strzok was also responsible for changing the wording of the official FBI report on the Clinton email affair by removing the original finding of “grossly negligent,” which constitutes a crime, and replaced it with “extremely careless,” which does not warrant prosecution.

Andrew Weissmann, another veteran prosecutor assigned to Mueller’s legal team, praised Sally Yates, an Obama-administration holdover at the Trump Department of Justice, for breaking her oath of office and refusing to carry out President Trump’s immigration order.

Justice Department official, Bruce G. Ohr, connected with various ongoing investigations under the aegis of the Justice Department, was partially reassigned for his contact with the opposition-research firm responsible for the Clinton-funded, anti-Trump “dossier.”

Aaron Zebley (supposedly known in the past as Mueller’s “right-hand hand”), once served as Mueller’s chief of staff while employed by the FBI. Zebley, as late as 2015, represented Justin Cooper – the IT staffer who set up Hillary Clinton’s illegal and unsecure server at her home, and who purportedly smashed Clinton’s various BlackBerries with a hammer in fear they would be subpoenaed.

The Justice Department is refusing to reveal details of the process that led up to former FBI Director Robert Mueller being granted an ethics waiver to serve as special counsel investigating the Trump campaign’s alleged collusion with Russia during the 2016 presidential election.

So, for the record… Democrats, within weeks of taking control, launch an assault and question an “acting” AG about recusal based on how they “feel.” Of course they see no reason for a Mueller recusal against the backdrop of numerous conflicts.

Likewise, Republicans had control for two years, have a list of conflicts even longer than listed above and did nothing!  No public statements calling for the recusal of Robert Mueller and no launch of an Independent Counsel to investigate clear misconduct!
