Anthony is Director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases (NIAID) and the Chief Medical Advisor to the President. This position falls under the National Institutes of Health (NIH). Anthony is reportedly the highest-paid federal employee in the US. He raked in $417,608 in 2019.
Those on the left think he is worth every penny. Those on the right think he is a buffoon, just making things up as he goes. Those on the right are… right! Case in point, a recent exchange between Tony and Gupta on CNN as Anderson Hays Cooper looked on like a $10 animatronic.
Gupta asks Tony about an Israel study for Natural Immunity. Gupta notes the study shows that Natural Immunity is even stronger than the vaccines. He failed to mention that the longevity is also better as noted in the study “Study: Natural immunity ‘stronger, longer’ than vaccine immunity.” Highly paid experts like Tony call this longevity “durability” to sound worth $417k. Tony’s answer is he doesn’t have a firm answer, but he also strongly pointed out the study didn’t tell you about the durability of natural infection versus the vaccines. He lied yet again!
The study actually concluded when studying the effects of the Delta Variant, “natural immunity affords longer lasting and stronger protection against infection, symptomatic disease and hospitalization due to the Delta variant of SARS-CoV-2, compared to the BNT162b2 two-dose vaccine-induced immunity.”
One could assume this highly lauded expert who works for the NIH just didn’t have time to finish reading the Israel report. We could give Tony some slack here because he must have a lot of NIH reports to read. For example, Tony might just be finishing an NIH report, between photo-shoots, published eight months past called “Lasting immunity found after recovery from COVID-19.”
Sipping his organic tea Anthony is probably rounding the corner on this part… “Levels of T cells for the virus also remained high after infection. Six months after symptom onset, 92% of participants had CD4+ T cells that recognized the virus” and “Several months ago, our studies showed that natural infection induced a strong response, and this study now shows that the responses last”
The man in charge of navigating the U.S. through a global pandemic that he helped create is a joke!
