Gay… You Don’t Say!

This is a perspective on the “Don’t Say Gay” bill in Florida that you haven’t heard. First, there is no language in this bill relevant to the misnomer peddled by the radical left. The relevant section of the bill is as follows (emphasis added):

Classroom instruction by school personnel or third parties on sexual orientation or gender identity may not occur in kindergarten through grade 3 or in a manner that is not age appropriate or developmentally appropriate for students in accordance with state standards.

CS/CS/HB 1557: Parental Rights in Education

The short paragraph above is absolute evidence that the media is lying about the bill, full stop. If you read the above excerpt and heard “don’t say gay” you suffer from a substandard intelligence. Leave now, we won’t be able to help you.

The missed point not being measured is… this country, its media, and Democrat party leaders are fighting to engage conversation (some would argue groom) with kindergarten, first, second and third grade children about sexual orientation and gender identity. LGBTQ along with ABC’s. How did this republic get to a point of total madness? Let me answer that question at the end of this article.

Take a good look and listen to this elementary school teacher from Florida:

She would like students to do that “cute little… like… meet the teacher thing, where it has a little bio, some of our favorite stuff, so you know who we are.” She goes on to ask, “How do I do that? Do I lie” while coming to tears. The first alarm to sound is that person with the nose stud and a lack of critical thought is permitted to teach children. In her “sophisticated mind”, she postulates to know her you need to know her partner, her gender identity and her lifestyle choices.

Here is a thought experiment for woke teachers, the press and the Democrat party – should a Christian educator be able to share their faith and beliefs with K through 3rd grade students? If you are not sufficiently aware, there is nothing in the constitution on the separation of church and state. Let us therefore embrace all Christian teachers and enable them to share their faith in the classroom.

Indeed, Christianity has more standing to be taught in schools than LGBTQ+. I can almost guarantee this is not taught to children:

“Our laws and our institutions must necessarily be based upon and embody the teachings of The Redeemer of mankind. It is impossible that it should be otherwise; and in this sense and to this extent our civilization and our institutions are emphatically Christian…This is a Christian nation”

United States Supreme Court Decision in Church of the Holy Trinity v. United States, 1892

Certainly, Jesus Christ is just as important to a Christian and a part of who they are as the gender identity of a person, right? I never knew any of my elementary school teachers first names. I had no idea if they were married. I absolutely had no knowledge of their sexual preferences.

As the left, media and Democrat party push the don’t say gay bill lie, consider how the US ranks in education across the globe. Vietnam, China, Russia, Japan, Korea, Spain, Italy, Luxembourg, Estonia, Slovenia, Liechtenstein and many others are well ahead of us, while we debate grooming children in kindergarten, pathetic!

I said I would explain how we got into this muddle. It won’t take long, so hang in there. These are the 1915 rules for teachers from One-Room Schools of Knox County, by the Knox County Retired Teachers Association:

  1. You will not marry during the term of your contract.
  2. You are not to keep company with men.
  3. You must be home between the hours of 8 p.m. and 6 a.m. unless attending a school function.
  4. You may not loiter downtown in ice cream stores.
  5. You may not travel beyond the city limits unless you have the permission of the chairman of the board.
  6. You may not ride in a carriage or automobile with any man unless he is your father or brother.
  7. You may not smoke cigarettes.
  8. You may not dress in bright colors.
  9. You may under no circumstances dye your hair.
  10. You must wear at least two petticoats.
  11. Your dresses must not be any shorter than 2 inches above the ankle.
  12. To keep the school room neat and clean, you must sweep the floor at least once daily, scrub the floor at least once a week with hot, soapy water, clean the blackboards at least once a day and start the fire at 7 a.m. so the room will be warm by 8 a.m.

Compare that list with our teacher friend from Florida. Academia, like the press, has been in attack mode since the ‘60s to kill the best of America. They demand the country align with their desires no matter how depraved. Countless examples abound of teachers online bragging about indoctrination. Videos of parents reading sexual grooming books from the library at school board meetings and then being asked to stop because of the language. You simply can’t make this perdition up!

So now is the time for the GOP to push 100% school vouchers. Parents need the freedom to send their children to schools they can trust. Let the marketplace offer schools that teach Math, Science, and Reading without sexual grooming. There will be plenty of time for the little children to learn about LGBTQ+ and how bad America is, after the 3rd grade. I am certain Hollywood, Legacy Elite Media, Big Tech and the radical left will fill in any blanks.

  1. Great read! As I was reading I could not help but wonder where are the Christian leaders, where are the GOP leaders? It seems to me you raised two very good points that each group could easily use to win this debate. Allow teachers to share their faith and let parents choose their schools!

  2. Looking at where we are on the globale education scale, how embarrasing it is to see this topic even being considered. What kind of evil fights to force childeren to talk about gender identity. Should we drop the drinking age to 5?

  3. After all this time, people are still posting BS about the “don’t say gay bill”, how ill informed and hypnotized are the left. You make a great point, would the left support a teacher sharing their faith? Since the left are trying to fire coaches that pray by themselves I think not! Add to that your chart on where the USA ranks in education and I would think the teachers and left would be too embarrassed to even open the topic up, but again no they aren’t!

  4. Is there any doubt a large part of our country is about the efforts to destroy it from the inside. More parents need to get active. The schools have been given a free hand in raising out children and look what happened. We do need 100% school choice! Why should I have to pay for my children to be put through this subversive hell. This stops now! Push back and don’t give up. Leaders if you don’t support school choice you will not get my vote.

  5. Sexuality is not a topic to be shared between teachers/students in grades K-12. Period.
Most if not all parents are not in favor of any aspects of our kids K-12 teachers sexuality being shared with our children. Period. There will be plenty of time for them to decide for themselves about that in their own upcoming adulthood. Sexual intercourse/Contraceptive use for children < 18 is not advisable and should not be promoted in any fashion. They will become involved in that aspect of sexuality when they are adults. These are basic truisms – whether or not you are gay or straight. Period.
A K-12 teacher's job is to teach READING, Writing and Mathematics, Civics, Geography and Art/Music appreciation/skillsets & to maintain order in the classroom. Simple, right? You would be AMAZED at the percentage of kids who are promoted up each grade and who are in truth quite ignorant in these areas. Compassion for and empathy with the students is important and that involves LISTENING to the children, discerning their knowledge levels and learning skills(study and reading habits) and give unbiased instruction in their topic areas. Remember, helping students to learn the duties of a US citizen makes them a better/more aware informed citizen. The best thing any nation can have is an informed, involved and deeply concerned citizenry.
